Over 800 people attended: 9385 Euros raised for relief & reconstruction in Lebanon.

the people behind 'from Berlin to Beirut'

‘from Berlin to Beirut’ gave birth to the ‘to Beirut’ concept. If not for Claudia, Lars, Patci & Sam, with the help of the great DJs that participated in the event and the people at Watergate, none of this would exist now. Claudia Marquardt aka P.Toile played at ‘The Basement’ in March 2006. Lars Seiler aka Erich Bogatzky, a German architect working in Beirut and a resident DJ at ‘The Basement’ left Lebanon right before the war on vacation to Berlin and couldn’t return. Sam Rouanet aka Reynold was booked to play in August and Patci Weil from Wilde Bookings had just confirmed a date for M.A.N.D.Y in August at ‘The Basement’.
